Overview :

If you’ve been struggling with your eating habits or your weight, stop blaming yourself! Weight control has nothing to do with willpower. You were designed by nature to crave sweets, fats and other foods that were scarce to our prehistoric ancestors but are readily available today. Now you can forgive yourself for past failures and learn how to overcome the obstacles facing you in today’s "toxic nutritional environment."

Written by a prominent doctor at Yale Medical Center and a dietician, and recommended by the American Dietetic Association, The Way to Eat helps the reader develop skills and strategies to navigate more than 50 potential barriers to eating well. There is a way to eat that will leave you satisfied, enjoying your food and healthy for a lifetime.

The Way to Eat arms you with fundamental knowledge about how humans are designed to eat, how our bodies respond to food intake and how to balance the right kinds of fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Discover:

-- How to make sure your fat cells signal your brain that they’re full

-- How to avoid the temptation of high-fat, high-calorie foods

-- What to do about cravings and binge eating

-- Meal plans and recipes included
